Those damn things are everywhere! I've almost been run over by kids wearing them while I was shopping. And, there's even one kid that wears his to his martial arts class and tried to work out in them. It's not the shoe manufacturer's fault that this kid's parents bought him a pair or that he was stupid enough to wear them while trying to cross the road.

Unfortunately, the company cannot sue the parents and kid for stupidity. That would end the frivolous lawsuits.

They may look like tennis shoes, but they function like roller skates. Don't run through traffic in roller skates, kids.

They complain that brakes could be installed, but isn't the rest of the shoe a brake? A better one than the brakes on actual roller skates too. The kid misstepped. Its a shame, but that's what happens when you let your kids wear the high risk foot wear you bought em, mom & dad.
