(fair warning, some of the images may disturb more sensitive viewers)

According to the site, this couple had a baby only after 17 weeks of conception. The baby, of course, is deceased. The hospital supposedly allows this couple to take the deceased corpse home to introduce to the rest of the family, then take it back to the hospital for burial preparation.

Is this even legal?

So, I went to the site, but it's apparently down. I was able to find another site that had one of the images, though. My immediate feeling was that it was fake.

Then I found this:

http://obit.weeksfuneralhomes.com/obit_ ... isting=All
The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.

I read this post last night...and it's been on my mind since.

It's disturbing....My first miscarriage was further along than that, and there is no way in hell I would have even tried to do something like that.

What kind of hospital would let them take the fetus???

And, is this some sort of religious thing?

And, those poor kids are going to be so fucked up...

Everyone deals with mourning differently i suppose.
It's creepy, yeah..but when you think about it, 150 years ago kids prolly saw all kinds of sick stuff like that just because there werent hospitals and stuff.
