Generally, I don't get into the whole "sky is falling" theories. But readers - I don't know any better way to put this - you are loosing your basic internet rights, and you don't even know it. So it's time I put some information in your hands ...


1) The US Senate - the people we elected to serve our democratic interests, to uphold and protect the constitution just thumbed thier nose at you and your civil liberties....

2) The Spanner Trust is fighting in the UK right now to protect sadomasochistic images on the internet...and you're eating cheetos...

3)The National Coalition For Sexual Freedom is fighting for your sexual rights here on US soil - your lifestyle can cause you to loose your children, your livelihood and more.

4) The government is possibly monitoring your internet traffic - ALL of it - and keeping records on what you do.



This morning the US Senate threw out an amendment that would have prevented telecoms from charging websites a premium for faster download speeds.....

The "net neutrality" amendment, would have prevented telecommunication firms from creating a two-tier internet, in which websites are charged a premium to receive a priority service. It would also have ensured that broadband users continue to have access to all content on the internet. This rejection follows a similar rejection by the House of Representatives on June 9th.
Opponents of the new usage toll, predominately web firms such as Google and Yahoo!, demand nothing less than full neutrality, where all traffic remains free.

Have you heard about the battle across the pond? The Spanner Trust - http://www.spannertrust.org - has been fighting a UK law, which states that anyone who harmed another, irregardless of consent during sadomasochistic activities, would be arrested and charged. It also further stipulated that possesion of S&M related images was illegal (Even if in the temporary internet files). The law is being revised.

The Trust argues that SM should be accepted by society as a legitimate expression of sexuality just as homosexuality now is. Like homosexuality, SM is totally harmless to those who practise it and does no harm whatsoever to others. Some people may
find them both to be vile and repugnant and possibly also contrary to their religious views but in neither case is that a good reason for the criminal law to intervene. The criminal law should only intervene when there is harm being caused.

Supports the right of adults to express their sexuality, gender identity and orientation freely and openly without fear.



The US government is on a witch hunt, they need someone to aim thier Public Relations at - the problem is they are firing blindly. Recently the government forced Google to release search engine results for review. What are they looking for, child pornography hits - a good damnned target !! - more should be done to protect our children!! The problem is this - they are firing blindly blaming all internet porn - and even classifying sites such as these, that promote alternative lifestyles, as pornographic.

The only problem is, they haven't gotten around that pesky Free Speech thing yet. The OneKink network may have a lot of information in it, and its growing rapidly, but we are a porn-free network - yes, there are some advertisements for porn on some of our commercial sites - but so far not one penny has come from donations or sponsorship - and believe me, we've asked - from stockroom.com to blackmarketchicago.com - we have tried to get corporate sponsorship - to no avail. So YEAH, we do have bills to pay - and if the government keeps going, odds are they will be a lot more costly soon.



Don't you worry, you are safe


Cleaning out those internet history files? Deleting the evil cookies? Keeping your downloaded porn and movies on a seperate drive?? Doesn't matter.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is in the midst of a huge court case against ATT&T for allowing the National Security Agency (NSA) unfettered access to the internet - oh, that's right. They are watching every packet traversing the internet. Some conspiracy theory techies also have discussed why PGP went the way of the dinosaur - because the NSA couldn't crack it.

But, hey, what does it matter to you. It's not like any of this directly affects you - I mean we are one week from Big Brother 7, Battlestar Gallactica returns next month - and we are all getting shit-faced and watching fireworks Tuesday. Celebrate independance this year!!! (You may not have it next year).

Get your cheetos and get back to the remote - it's where they want you, so they can run things the way they want to. And just you wait and see - when election time comes - the guns will be pointed at us, to keep the cheeto lovers mind off how crappy they have ran the country the last 4 years. The politicians are dusting off thier bibles - coming after gay marriage - next is online porn - then is pornographic discussion and news - but the main thing - it will make the old people that still use thier right to vote get out on election day.

So celebrate your Birthday America - have a hot dog, a cup of censorship with a side of special interest groups.... Never you mind how bad things are getting, you just sit and watch TV, your old Uncle Sam will take care of everything - especially your life.
