Masquerade Thanks

Post by Bone »

I just want to take a minute here and thank everyone who came out last night and joined the party for our first Quarterly KG party.
The outfits last night were OVER THE TOP AMAZING!!! So many beautiful people!
I want to also give a VERY special Thanks to Voltaire for coming down here from NYC to play. It's been a long time since i had so much fun seeing a musician play. I'm glad we were able to bring him here for all of you. By everyones reaction he seemed to be a huge hit. At lunch today he expressed what a good time he had here, and would like to return again in the future. Which, at least from my end, I hope we will do.
Also I want to thank Mike, and Arkady for some killer sets. AND last but not least a thanks HAS to go out to Blue Cats for allowing us a Friday night to throw down and party.

Lastly, I KNOW there were a lot of cameras there last night! So, for those taking pictures please be sure to share them all with us. For those wishing to have pictures hosted here on KG PM myself or Vader, and we'll get with you about getting them online.

Again, thanks everyone. Last night reminded me so much of some of the earlier days of Sanctus, when everyone went out of their way to make it a special night. There will be more events coming soon, so keep an eye on on the forum here for upcoming news! Hopefully the next one will be even bigger and better.

it rocked.

i took quite a few pictures, but sadly enough, my camera is shite. i had a couple really 'good shots' that were ruined just because the 'autocorrection' feature fubar'd them. it sucks, because the seats bear and i took were perfect for a camera. (straight across from the stage, with a decent zoom you could see the hairs on voltaire's chin.)

but i do have one or two i can send you guys.

Send me what ya got!
I hope in the next few days to get some photos up. Lady A let me download the shots she got at pre drinks and the begining of the night (the dancefloor called) I know Shadow Dancer got some pics she has to get developed, and I got about 1/2 a roll to get delevoped too.

needless to say over the next few days I'll start getting pictures up.
I'll post a thread as they start getting online.

Oh, I gotta say, it was a fabulous evening. Got introduced to loads of people and felt very much at home. 8-) I even got alot of ideas. I have to admit, I was surprised at how friendly Voltaire was. :) Very nice guy.
Can't wait to see if I made it into any of the posted pictures. :)

Fucking awesome evening!!!
Thanks to all the DJs for giving us their all. Thanks to all of you who bought me dirty bong waters (I know it was just a ploy to get me out of my clothes, and IT WORKED!), now I just have to avoid getting that recipe or I'll really be an alcoholic .

Had a great time dancing my ass off, as usual, and I can't wait for the next big event with the KGB crew.

Whew! I had a blast. Didn't get there till 11 as I was still sewing and had to run out to Clinton to Pick up Sho, but it was a great time.

Thanks to KG and Voltaire for making a wonderful event happen. And wow there were some nice costumes. Loved the Harley Quinn and Joker outfits!

I didn't get to bring my camera (did not have batteries) so I'm hoping to get a see a pic of my costume when photos get posted.

Having Voltaire show up to meet us at IHOP was way cool!

See you all again soon.

My pictures are up from pre-drinks at Urban and the early part of the Masquerade. I used up the film pretty early, so I only got a couple from the latter part of the night. The quality isn't the greatest, but a disposable camera was being used. Some board names are attached to the pictures; if you want you're board name posted with the picture, PM me and let me know which picture, which person and which name. In addition, if someone doesn't want their picture posted, PM me, and I will delete it.
