Probably had problems resulting from living there... I watched some documentary a while back, and him n his wife were being sued every 5 fuckin minutes over total bullshit...

Most've the details never adhered to memory, but from what I can remember, they were sued for fraud because alot've the shit that happened could be "rationally explained"... seems like they were either sued or taken to court multiple times by the same dude. I think the neighbors sued because their space was becoming a fucking tourist attraction. Also, I believe one of the books was involved in a lawsuit for some reason... Mostly just greedy, money-hungry assholes suing because the Lutz fam had originally made alot of cash from the whole fuckin ordeal... originally they did anyway, but the way they described it, they were constantly being harassed by scavengers... Don't take me word for word on that though, I can't say I was paying the utmost attention to the show...
