If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

ASTROLOGY: Mercury in Retrograde

Post by Francesca »

For all the astro geeks out there:
Mercury will be in retrograde from March 2nd - 25th:

For those who does not know what this means - essentially Murphy's law goes into overdrive.

Examples of things to be careful of:
So drive extra careful (watch out for the other guy)
When working on your computer remember to save, save, save!
Be very careful how you say things in conversations, to avoid misinterpretations.
And lastly, watch where you step, especially if you own a dog.

Yes, I have wished you were dead. You are just another face in the crowd, someone who brings me suffering, someone I truely hate.

Though I find astrology somewhat amusing, I think its bullshit and pretty backward to believe the planets are going to affect you, a little dot in the universe. Yes, the moon affects the tides but its not THAT far away. We have been there.

Mercury is 48 MILLION miles away. How the hell is that going to affect us, whatsoever?

Well all things considered, it still doesn't hurt to watch where you step, especially if you own a dog... ;)

agreed - for the most part. i don't believe that it could affect our individual, day to day lives. it won't make your business deal go to shit, and it won't cause your job interview to bomb.

however ... it could very well affect a meteor's trajectory just enough to cause it to smash into our atmosphere and end all life on earth as we know it. thus, it is my personal philisophy that it's great to have your head in the clouds, as long as you keep your eyes on the road.
