RIP - Mr Miyagi

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

RIP - Mr Miyagi

Post by Bone »

Death has claimed yet another of my childhood's favorite actors.
Actor Pat Morita, whose portrayal of the wise and dry-witted Mr. Miyagi in ``The Karate Kid'' earned him an Oscar nomination, has died. He was 73.

The man gave who gave us "Wax on, wax off".... *sigh*
Mr Morita was always my favorite Asian actor.

So much for any hope for another Karate Kids sequel. Which, I might add is probably a VERY good thing. Espc w/ rambo and rocky returning to the big screen for yet another installment *shudders*
Wait Ralph Machio vs Sly Stallone in a celebrity deathmatch in the new Rocky (what is it 6?) could make it entertaining....

Anyway RIP Mr Morita, you will be missed

or my favorite from karate kid pt 2

[Walking through the Okinawa airport, Daniel and Miyagi find a poster advertising Sato's karate school. The poster shows Sato breaking a log with his bare hands]
Daniel: You think you could break a log like that?
Miyagi: Don't know. Never been attacked by a tree.

You forgot he was also Arnold on Happy Days.

Nothing could make you laugh quicker than Arnrold laughing at Fonzie.
