why so much industrial/techno type music?

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

why so much industrial/techno type music?

Post by naturegrrl »

ok, so i'm old. i admit it. but my date and i, based on our experience back in the day at the merc, were expecting more 80s music last night... we were really surprised at how much industrial/techno stuff was playing. mmchick mmchick mmchick mmchick . we found it too fast and difficult to dance to. in fact, we left at about 1 because there had only been a few songs that we liked that played. while we were there, except for the unmasking, it seemed like more people were dancing to depeche mode than anything else. so what's up? can we get some more 80s music in the future?

i cant speak for the sanctus guys, but i know they usually gear towards the crowd, so if you request it before the event they are usually really good about trying to play requests -

on another note we do have an 80s alternative night at temple coming up soon, might want to keep your eyes peeled for that one

Jay would be correct in his statement.
There was a fair amount of 80s played last night, though admitedly a little less than usual. If you left early you probably missed most of it though.
Playlist from the night can be found here, for those who want to see what they missed.
