"Cry for a Victim"

I will no longer cry for the little girl.

Not another tear will fall from my eyes,

for the victim in her.

I don't have the time to sit and cry.

She is dead to me.

She died yesterday.

Eleven at night, to be exact.

Part of me wanted to let her stay,

But she distorts all the facts.

She is dead to me.

She doesn't know that she is gone.

I can hear her tears,

And I am numb.

When she looks in the mirror and sees

She is dead, but she still breathes.

I don't think that pure irritation with a person equals a muse dear
