February Sanctus

Post by lupa »

What is everyone wearing to this upcoming Masquerade at Sanctus (well beside masks) I am really at a loss and don't want to look out of place....

I'm kind of at a loss with this one too! I'm limited by both budget, and by what I can pack in a carry-on bag. And February is still winter, so I want to wear something reasonably warm.

Any ideas or advice is appreciated!

From the face up I'm covered. now i just need to find something from the neck down.

My advice is party city. If you have a couple of bucks and some imagination you can come up with something and that quarantees that no one else will have the same mask.

I'm not particularly worried about the mask, I'm worried about what all the goth girlies will be parading around in, I don't want to be left out of the fun, but I'd like to get an idea of what to expect.

Anyone that knows me will have, by now, recognised I am not ...uhhh this is tricky. I am not overly goth, I love the scene, I like the music...but don't have a huge wardrobe. I would like to go to Sanctus and not stick out like a sore thumb, which i will probably end up doing anyway :)

So any ideas, any at all from the lovely girlies would be great!!!

I'm all about the romantic type clothing for masquerade events, so I will most likely be in one of my long gowns and a mask I bought in NOLA several years ago. Not to mention, this one will hopefully be cooler than the last one, so my mask will stay on longer than 5 minutes after walking through the door.

But you look so fantastic in it, especially when everyone on Bourbon St. is wanting to take pictures of your "Halloween costume". ;)

That was the year before....Last Halloween it was me...

Still I was not as impressive as the woman in the PERFECT Farscape Chiana costume.....that was phenomenal. One of the few times I regreted not having a camera.
