It is due to open July 1, 2005. Well the page says the 1st, but the trailer says the 4th..... We'll see....
Duct tape is like 'The Force'. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

Wow. I generally hate comic book movies, but I think I have to see that one. I mean, they used "Counting Bodies like Sheep" in the damn trailer, AND Jessica Alba is in it! *drool*
If she were a street gang, I'd go to war with her with bottles and chains.

I can't WAIT to see this.

I thought they were going to screw it up the first time I heard Jessica Alba was going to play invisible woman....but.....it looks to me like she has the part down!

The johnny looks a lil weird.

Reed looks right on...and ben....wow. :)

Xas had seen a trailer online.....and we saw a different one together before Elektra.....(which I loved too) I thought I was gonna cream myself right there.

God, I love being a comic book geek :)

I have to say that that is almost word for word the post I made on a friend's journal about this movie...

Not too shabby on the Fan4. I'd definately have kept Invisible Girl blonde and gone for a bit more maturity with Dr Richards. They really dropped the ball on "industrialist" Victor Van Damm though. I guess the Latvarian dictator Victor Van Doom was too much for them. Marvel villians don't fare so well. Doc Ock and Magneto have been the exceptions.

I guess I'm the only one that looked at the trailer and groaned then. :/

I think Reed looks terrible, he looks like he's about 18. Reed Richards is what, in his early 40s when the whole series begins. Sue wasn't far from that, hardly a Jessica Alba. Chicless does look like a decent Thing. Not as big and thick as the Thing is, he's really a lot more bulky, but that's okay, the alternative was CG. The guy playing the Torch looks okay. But what in the blue hell @ Doom being part of the accident, that's just weak. I know they can't totally setup every villain's background and set up the heroes too, but you could at least make an effort.

I'll see it, but the trailer was a big turn off for me.

I see where you are coming from....

But, if you look at the Marvel Ultimates line of comics....Ultimate F4...(and I know there are people that hate them,..i love them though)

I mean, it is really close to that story line, from what I know so far...
