Nevermore Film Festival

Highly suggest this film festival,I've been the past two years(knew someone entered last year-ghostoftheneedle.com).Last year I sat with a thousand people(thousands of freaks were there) in one of their screenings of Bubba Ho Tep.Today they posted on the website the movies that are showing this year(follow the films link),I've seen Tale of Two Sisters and Dead and Breakfast, they're both great. It's in downtown Durham (Carolina theater)and is right beside a hotel.

Sounds like a nice festival. I'd prefer more fims versus more showings, but I guess this way you get to see everything. There used to be a rather nice festival in Nashville in early summer...Dozens of movies over about 7 days.

Durham is just a bit too far out of my driving range. Thanks for sharing that info! Always good to know where movies you may not normally get a chance to see are showing.

If only we could talk the Downtown Regal West into a weekend long geek/freak film festival...

I've talked to Ted Cooper(buyer for Regal) a couple of times about that, hopefully one day(he did say that they were cool w/ individual showings)they'll do it.

didn't watch three extremes because i've seen it(superb, showcases three of the far east's best talents),and missed hooper's mortuary...

bradley's dark remains(his 3rd film) is superb, good to see a local freak doing so well...he has now moved to california, but told me he plans to shoot one of his next films in knoxville...claws are crossed...

the roost(set-up is similar to 50's tv series...like thriller or inner sanctum...bats spread the infection ),zombie honeymoon(takes wedding vows to new heights),death trance(guy who choreographed versus directed, one right out of the old kung-fu theatre book) ,and shadow dead riot(women's prison zombie fest) are all entertaining as well...
