Hehe. I almost get the impression when I read back over some of these poems that it's written by someone who can't decide if they want to be a physicist or a poet..

Reverse Gravitation

Rooted trees fall for the sky;
Humanity loses hold of the ground--
Now that the airborne have lost sense of their realm.

Effects of opposition now eminent with fortitude and duration,
The sun's repelled into the cold abyss during this era of reverse gravitation.

Vast oceans abandon seas flooding stars;
Statues of holy idols sent from earth heaven ward--
"Up" and "down" are now merely cliches of an ancient time.

Masses forcing each other apart into further isolation,
Destiny rejects unity for the inimical rule of reverse gravitation.

Unsung cries for help from those ejected;
Hurdling away are mothers, brothers, daughters--
Life dares not interrupt the systematical process.

I reach for you, my love, but there is no way to achieve our state of wondrous elation.

The more we attempt to unite, the further we drive ourselves apart into sheer desolation.

A cold heart sets the harmonic unity of the universe into a state of reverse gravitation.
