What are you thankful for?

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

What are you thankful for?

Post by Russo »

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I thought I'd start a thread expressing what I'm thankful for. I'm thankful for Japanese horror films, people who are generous enough to help disabled kids even when times are tough, good vodka, boys in leather, and all you nice kids in the KG scene :D Okay, I'm cheesy, whatever.

What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for good friends and family. I'm thankful for my new position as the Linux administrator at work. I'm thankful for food and alcohol. I'm thankful for Manifest Destiny. And of course, I'm thankful for computers, music, and movies.

Thankful for the select group of friends that I have. You know who you are. Love you guys. I am also thankful that a small psychotic portion of my life is over and I can begin to be myself again. :P

Great Friends, games, memories good and bad, cheap pizza and a healthy appetite for ramen, geek girls, stories that change my life. Music that provides a theme to it. Vanilla Coke. And that my Blizzard Downloader just hit 100%. Happy New Year!

I am thankful for my family, my "extended family" (you know who you are on here), my friends, my fluffly white poodle, my health, my faith, my job, the color pink, Hello Kitty, and my music that keeps me sane. I am thankful that I have the ability to overeat instead of starving on the streets. I am thankful that when I have a meltdown, I have friends and family (both blood and chosen) to listen to me and help me see things I may not have. I am thankful that I am alive today. I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to feel loss since it means that I have cared about people before and it helps me to appreciate people more.

Yeah, I guess I am just very thankful for everyone in my life and all my learning experiences.

Thankful for anything with alcohol in it, thankful for all five of my guns, the guys in my band, all of my true friends, and uh... yeah, that's about it. I'd really be thankful if a HOTT girlie would ask me on a date ;) *cough, hint, cough*

I'm thankful for the fact that, no matter where I go, or do in life, I have such a great memory, so that I can remember all the great times, with some of you, and others. I'm also thankful for inhibitors (especially Gin & Wine), so I can forget, when I want...<3

2 kitties who love me, family and friends, my comforts (good music, good film, the kind bud, Dogfish Ales, Hanger 1 vodka), and finally, but not least, the good fortune to live in a country where I am free to express my views and to consider the opinions of others.

I'm thankful for everything... the good, the bad, & the mundane. All are blessings in their various forms.

My special favorites, though, are my ever lovin' man, my beautiful babies, very good friends, & all our animals... especially Spot who is currently meowing at my feet. Oh, & dancing! Dancing is good for the soul. :D

First of i'm thankful for my kidlins my darling Nicky and my sweet Meerkat eventhough she is with her dad, I'm thankful for captain morgan and champagne, My friends who are always there no matter what path my heart takes they stand behind me no matter what, and also thankful that they trust me to take care of them since it is truly better to give than recieve, I'm thankful that even though times are tough and i'm lucky to sleep two hours a night between 2 jobs and taking care of my son at least i still have the health and intelligance and pure stubbornness to do it, I'm ever thankful for mr. robert smith who cheers my heart and stabs my heart so purely, i'm thankful for a certain sagitarrius with sinatra's birthday who despite the pain has shown me love also but has taught me to strive for perfection in what i want in life and take nothing less.i'm thankful for cloudy days and my mamaw's quilt she made me when i was little, and i'm thankful for dancing always, i'm also thankful for people like jay who have made sacrifices to protect us and our loved ones even thought i strongly disagre with the powers that be, and i am thankful to the goddess for her wisdom and strength that brought me thru the tough times in my life and made me the person i am today. Happy thanks giving you guys ;-)
I will lose myself tommorrow, Crimson pain my heart explodes, My memory in a fire,And someone will listen,At least for a short while...
