IVANNA IS COMING HOME!

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

IVANNA IS COMING HOME!

Post by scarecrow »

Ivanna will be heading home today.....She said to thank everyone who came to see her and brought her things to the hospital.

Sadly her Daughter is still in ICU but is getting better.
“That proves you are unusual, returned the Scarecrow; and I am convinced the only people worthy of consideration in this world are the unusual ones. For the common folks are like the leaves of a tree, and live and die unnoticed.â€

Yay! I'm so glad! We've all been very worried for her & her daughter. Thanks for the updates, man. Please let us know if there's anything we can do for either of them.

we all know how proud she is about asking about/for help so when we talked to her she did say that she will need help with things like going shopping for food ,doing the wash and other lifting/carrying things around the place so if ya have the day off and can ,give a call to her or e-mail and see if she needsanything done like that ...........huggggggglless

My internet is screwing up. I can only be online for 5-6 minutes at a time.

Yes, I'm home from the hospital. I can not even begin to express the appreciation I have for those that came to visit, called, posted, etc. Thank you all so much for the flowers, cards, candy, cigarettes, books, Lily Munster, etc. I can honestly say that I have never felt more loved by people in my life!!! Morgan, please, DO NOT stress about the visiting thing....it's OK....REALLY!!!

I'm still in rather rough shape. I had two compound fractures to my right leg(i.e. the bones came through the skin) and my ankle was crushed. For whatever reason, I guess I thought I could hold the damn car engine in my lap or something. I had surgery on that Wed. night and that seems to be healing OK, but hurts like hell. The most painful part is my 2 broken ribs and the whiplash in my neck, shoulders & back.

Melly is fairly stable. She is pediatric ICU. All of her injuries are internal. She has a perferated liver that they used some sort of medical 'fix-a-flat' on. She is still in PICU and on a feeding tube. She most likely won't get to go to a room for another 3-4 more days.

I really hated having to leave my baby girl there, but I've got to get healed enough so that I can take care of her when she is finally able to come home.

Redmonger is the most loving, wonderful, caring man ever. Poor man is worn to the bone with trying to make sure that Melly & I are taken care of, worrying about his own daughter, making sure things at home are taken care of and work his job.

I'm going to be out of work for, at least the next two months. Depending on how my leg heals will decide if I can worship the red & khaki gods again.

Speaking of them, Mike has to work today, I can't drive and the car is a metal schulpture anyway.....I desperately need to get a script for pain filled and I want to go see my baby at the hospital. If anyone could hook a girl up, please call......if you don't have my number, call Jay or one of the monkeys or Scarecrow.....heh, I'm not posting it on the web. Wink

Thank you again to everyone! I love you all!!!!!!

Glad to know you are home now. I end up away from the net for just over a week and all hell breaks loose. Wish I had known about the wreck before I went to K-town Sunday, I would have left even earlier to come visit at the hospital. :-(
Was I just here?

If you need absolutely anything, just call. I can't believe you can even think about much less be concerned about anyone else at this point. Thank You.
