I'm trying to figure out a way to set up some sort of disaster fund for Florida/victims of the hurricanes. I'm not really sure how to set one up/start it...but maybe someone here knows any suggestions? Maybe through networking on this board and talking to all of your friends, we could get something big going. The Red Cross has run out of money to take care of Florida or anyone else with, I'd just like to think I'm doing my part in helping out....
Let me know if you guys have any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.

Do a little background research into any organization you donate to. This will help make sure that the money goes to help those who need it and not into the hands of con men.
Some that are known to be credible are the Red Cross (of course) and The Florida Division of Emergency Management at http://www.floridadisaster.org/
Near the bottom of the page is a link on how to donate wisely.
