In the Cool Summer Breeze

A poor young man lay beneath the trees
Drifting in the summer breeze
Never to worry about the disease
His "soul" felt truly free

Forgetting the broken promises
Ignoring the spiteful deciet
Outstrechted hands clasping the godesses
Warm spring water covering their feet

Souls yearning for pain and dismay
Frolicking in a dark disarray
Disoriented by the lies of "love"
Shooting strife into the skies above

Oh but what chaos they have brought
Laughing at the havoc they wrought
Screaming out aggressive thoughts
Breaking through painful shocks.

Skating though emotional walls
Loving her was his downfall
And a great fall was indeed his fate
Falling from his blind faith

Hitting the ground
Feeling numb
Broken sounds
Pain succumbed

Now he lay beneath a dying tree
Never to again be free
Walls torn down have risen again
Finding that he has no friends..

Emotions lost to the never ending hurt
Clutching his chest through his tattered shirt
Jaded to life forever more.
To feel love.... Nevermore...
