Hello? Anyone gettin' their craft on?
Woo! I'm done with skool for the semester...so that means, when I'm not working one of my two jobs, I can get my craft on!
Anybody working on anything nifty? Nexxus23 has some sort of socks in the workin's I know...
How are your gardens?
Make anything nifty lately? Got any neat-o crafty ideas to share?
I've been thinking of doing some flower pressing lately...Flower presses can be easily made out of a couple pieces of wood and some screws and wingnuts.
I still need to learn some mad knittin' and sewin' skillz...
Ok..this was random...just thought I'd get some discussion goin on in here...

Hon, I haven't been able to get much of anything on for the last month and a half......really hoping things will return to normal, so to speak, soon.....I'm still working on the afghan for my mom that was supposed to be for Mother's Day.....I think it's gonna be late.
I'm Jewish. I don't work out. If god had wanted us to bend over, she would have put diamonds on the floor.

I don't know about they rest of you ...
I always have something going. Right now I have several bead jewelry projects in the works. I also have a crossstitch picture, a knitted chenille scarf, wooden boxes to paint, and some sewing to finish. Of course, now that I am done with school, I can unpack and actually finish something.
Hopefully, anyway.
Speaking of which, if anyone wants to do some craft type thing, I almost always have excess suplies. Anyway, just saying hello.

I don't know if this really counts, since i'm a craftsperson for a living, but here's some pix of what i've been working on lately:

Hmmm...I sure wish we could do a monthly gothy "craft type thing". We could even include cooking lessons or something...
Like, a few of us could get a list of projects, see who's interested, and gather supplies...maybe we could alternate having it at different peoples houses...
Of course, we'd probaby have to do just little introductory things, and the projects could be then taken home and finished there.
Whaddaya think?

I have been sewing up a storm, you name it I am doing it, cross stitch/quilted rock for my brother's wedding gift, bridesmaid dress, matching mother daughter dresses (for gwynn and me), satin shirt for Jeremy just cause I felt like it, and I have been craving an excuse to make a few formals (found some great patterns, and have wonderful fabric, just no motivation) anyone have any ideas?
