The record labels have begun the process of tracking down and compensating artists for back royalties
Kinda makes you wonder since they did this big advertising kick on how file sharing in it's glorious evil deprived artists of money. Looks like something else has been depriving artists of money...
Imagine that, and funny how it takes a touch of legal action to get things going...well, $50 million things going....

I saw a political cartoon where the RIAA was depicted as a "fat-cat corporate type" and was yelling at file sharers, saying, "Stop stealing from the music artists! That's OUR job!"
