Gay Marriage Poll

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Gay Marriage Poll

Post by darkvader »

The American Family Association (aka bunch of homophobes) is running a poll on gay marriage, and they promise to present the results to congress.

The poll is currently running heavily in favor of legalized gay marriage.

Those interested may want to vote in this one, and see if the results really do get presented.

Voted - for it, of course. I think that multi-partner marriages should be legal, too.

Hey, did you steal this from my xanga? :freak:

Anyway, everyone should be happy to know that Pat Robertson (sexymama @ hotmail.com) voted in favor of gay marriage.

I don't know how much weight the AFA carries with the gov, so even if they do submit it, it may be ignored. Course, it's looking like they may not want to submit it since their plot to have only their fundie members vote has gone awry. Even if it doesn't have any weight with anyone, it's fun to screw with the AFA.

Two people who are in love, should have the right to have their partnership legally recognized, even if these two people happen to be of the same sex. This is the case in New Zealand, where not only homosexual unions but de facto unions (without marriage) are legally recognized.

Of course this would hardly go over here in our conservative area of the world eh?

Count me in favor of gay marriage. People are going to wake up to this fact REAL soon.

Ha ha, in your face AFA, you close minded bastards. They shouldn't say they're going to take it to congress unless they mean it. Then they back down...just plain spineless.

Take that! *votes* This is where you take up the rolled up Newspaper of Equal Rights, smack conservatists across the nose, and yell, "Bad conservatists, bad conservatists, don't crap on the gay marriages!"
