My old roomate studied with Fakir in San Fran. Came back a new and different person, not in a bad way mind you. He got his piercing certification, and worked at Saint Tatoo for the longest. Fakir is certainly an interesting person. Oddly enough, Fakir with a wasp waist is more disturbing to me than pictures of him doing a sundance ritual.

If you don't mind telling, <sic> & myself who your old roommate is, & if you can get in touch with him again. I've been looking forward to getting double spineshanks, but bloody-fucking-hell if I let anyone around here do it. Not that there aren't great piercers in East Tenn, just not great enough for me to trust doing that. I was going to wait & get them done by Fakir when I go to San Fran, with sic_fuck & ODDITY, but if you know someone who studied under him, I would trust them. Get back to me. Thanx!!!!
