How all my days seemed filled with dream of you,
How sometimes in the silent night
Your eyes see thru me with their soft light,

How you amongst other forms I seek -
Love more real than such dreams were true.

How you alone make all my hapiness,
How I am more than willing, for your sake,
To stand alone, give all and nothing take,
And never to think of you bound while I am free.
Always free, until death, to love you silently,

How when you doubt my truth I sadly yearn
To tell you all, to stand in brief space
Unaltered, soul to soul, face to face.
