The last week of Ivey's (HUGE PARTY INFO)

OK,

so as some of you may know, Ivey's will be closing. We are very lucky that they've let us have the go ahead to do the weeks events, and then close, other than the usual performance we get of "oh, by the way, we know that the event is supposed to start in 10 mins but, we're cancelling it. Thanks"

Now of course, Skareoke is tomorrow, it will be the last skareoke @ Ivey's- it will be running from 10 pm till 2 am, and Paul will be taking you thru the evening.

Second Skin will be performing live on Tuesday, with DJ's Arkady and Bone spinning afterwords, this is going to be a great show, that everyone should check out.

And of course Friday night will be the last edition of Nu Wave Knoxville at Ivey's. And at risk of sounding like an asshole, more importantly...its my birthday bash- Come out and celebrate my 22nd year of exsistance and also the last night at Ivey's all in one shot. Of course, as always i am taking requests...here i suppose- everything is it's usual price, gifts are excepted.....but most importantly......NO DEAD BODIES!!!!! *i hope to god all of you know that story or that joke just wasn't funny was it?*

Of course Sanctus is sunday as well....and i've got money riding on you kids that says you guys can party all week long, and still be alive when all the smoke is clear.

Let's see what you guys can really do, and let's give Ivey's the thanks it truelly deserves for being the one club that hasn't left us in the cold, or forgetting the name of the place.......and has given us so many new fun things to do as well-

thanks for your attention, time, and i hope to see you all out at least once this next week, if not sunday, tuesday, friday, and sunday.

Provided the staples come out and I am cleared to drive again by next Friday, I will be there. Just can't make any kind of plans for before then. *crosses fingers*

Crap, that's terrible. They've been so good to us.....

I'll be out as much this week as I possibly can. I'm definately going to Second Skin, Friday night is a maybe. I really would like to be there for your birthday tho'.

That's a shame. I was really looking forward to going to Ivey's When I had a day off from work. Does anyone know if any of events will be held at another club? :-(

Actually it was 'other' problems-

we're already working on something new- give it oh we'll say halloween/thanksgiving.....2-3 months tops, and we'll be hosting the same nights, and perhaps more.

I really appreciate everyone who is going to be out at as many nights this week as possible. Super special thanks to anyone who thinks i am important enough to come out to say happy birthday.

Statistics suggest that the average life span of a club is 6 months...

Despite being broke as hell (a chronic condition), we will be out for Second Skin tonight.

We cant make it out Friday...work issues (another chronic condition). X we hope ya have a helluva birthday bash! (what day is your birthday anyway? mine is the 23rd)

Sanctus, of course...

By next week, we should be physically and financially unable to do anything at all! Wooohooooo! :flush:
