I found this community on LJ, and I gots me an idea.... lol

They make little gift boxes for each other and send them out. Just cheapie littles like stickers, pens, candy, or handmade stuff. I think it would be cool if we could do this too. You take a roll call for that months exchange, someone assigns people to each other, and you make your packages. Since we live close we could just arrange to meet and exchange.

Sample : (pretend these people joined in the roll call)

karlaBOO will package for littlepockit
littlepockit will package for vampyrya
vampyrya will package for buttercup
etc.....

I think it's cute. And if some one out of town wants to participate *ahem Nexxus23, ladybee* then we mail. I LOVE IT. It's sweet and could really cheer someone up, ya know?

Whatchoo guys think?

That sounds nifty..I was on a mailing list a long time ago that arranged something like that...seemed fun. But when we set a price limit stick to it! I don't want to give a genuinely 5 dollar thingy to someone who is gonna spend 30 on theirs..lol.

I would definitely be interested in exchanging small gifts. I've found myself with far too many little cute things that I do not have space for. Since most of my old friends have moved away, I would be quite pleased to pass on some oddities. Plus, with the whole string of bitchiness that seems to be going around, this would be a nice way to share some goodwill without being accused of taking sides.
So,... fabulous idea Karla dearie. Please tell me when we shall all begin.
