Yeah, thats just creepy....you seem to be in this group for all the wrong reasons.
Once again, someone taking it upon themselves to define what's "right". Man, and I thought Jack Chick was anal.. To put your mind at ease, Miss Buttercup, I'm not interested in the music, the dancing, the alcohol, or the recreational drug use.
I'm interested in conversation, the meeting of reasonably likeminded individuals, and the potential to find someone I enjoy the company of. Since the the music pretty much precludes the possibility of conversation at these sort of events, it's very difficult to tell if someone else is interesting by any means other than visual. I'm sure you could make an arguement for pheromones, but quite frankly the heavy smoking rather limits what one can notice in that regard. So I'm left with what I can see. You can make a logical argument that I still have touch and taste available, but somehow I don't think you're about to go down THAT road, unless it involves the kicking of my ass and me eating my words, both of which are unlikely to occur. Now, as I was saying, I'm limitted to sight for the most part for any meaningful experience in the atmosphere of these social events. And I just happen to like what I see.. Yay me. So now that it's all pleasantly explained, do you care to indulge in a little bit more "drama" in a thread that the author of has already requested be free of it, or would you like to take any possible grievences you have with me to PM, where I can address them personally and in as much detail as your heart might desire.
Your choice. Choose wisely.

It seems like if you were to "choose wisely" you would not have posted this here. Perhaps you should have followed your own advice and PM'd her. You are spreading drama, and asking someone else to keep their mouth shut while you get the last, pathetic word in.
Sorry, but I'm unimpressed. Now, let's see if you really do respect the moderators... MOVE ON... creeping out the ladies is not a way to make friends.
As to Sanctus, if I could attend this time, I would make a request, but the semester is eating me alive and I'm starting to grow into my desk chair... hope everyone has fun!

To get this back on track, how about:
Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
I know it was played recently, but one more time shouldn't hurt anything

All I'll say is, good job on effectively creeping out all of the female members of the board and putting all the guys watching out for us on high alert.
Many a person has joined this group only in search of "hot goth chicks" and have been effectively outcast...
I have nothing I wish to say to you in PM that I wouldn't want the good members and admin's of our forum to see.
I have no music to request, I just wanted to see how you managed to piss of another member and friend of mine with your insults....

Oooh, here's a thought... I'm sure there are multiple techno/industrial remixes of The Imperial March.. I'm almost certain I've heard one before at one of these. That's something I could feel the beat of

Look...I know that I technically started all of this, though honestly, if it wasn't me, it would have been someone else, so that point, now said...moot. If we have a problem here, take it somewhere else...at least to another thread. Like I said, your tastes, are your tastes...I like new-school Industrial (Bile, Nocturne, Zeromancer, St. Famine Society, ect.), which I'm sure you could give a fuck less about, right? So there we go. My only actual stance on this whole arguement-called-drama is...This 'scene', is born on philosophy, & breed on music. Last time I checked, there was still a genre of music that was called 'Goth' at one point in time. To say that this 'scene' has nothing to do with music, well, I have to agree with Buttercup on this...You're "in this scene for all the wrong reasons". I'm not here to throw you into the ground...honestly, I'm, in my own way, standing up for you. I also like Lisa Loeb, who has quite a few songs, that I could easily deam 'Goth', but I also know that not only would none of it be played if requested, but I would be in your situation right now. Now, I have to switch sides (Read: non-bias), I don't think that 1.) Arguement's gonna get you anywhere. 2.) You have now, by doing so, so zealously, pissed off, & offended, quite a few people. & 3.) Just made you case worst...What I said was a joke, as everyone's first responces where. Now, I stand on my side...I don't really care what your ideals are, but, like this country's redneck motto, "Like it of leave it"...Buttercup & I are niether friends, nor enemies...In fact, we have only meet once (last Temple), & have only crossed paths a few times on the Internet...But I do have a certain amount of respect for her, for actually having the balls to speak her mind, as you also seem to. For this, you get my respect also. But, that gives you no right to be a smart-ass to prove a point. Especially, for insulting a 'scene' that you, by being on this board & attending the 'scene' events, claim membership to. Ok, I'm gonna go before I get worked up on this...Keep in mind this IS non-bias, because, other than the sarcasm of things, I could give fuck less...I just don't like having to read all this drama to see what I might be hearing at Sanctus...

As much as I am a fan of Tom T. Hall (you left out Sneaky Snake, his best hit of all!), I do not expect to ever hear it at Sanctus. How about some Miss Kitten and the Hacker?

He would have been on the list, but frankly none of his songs that came up on my search of *.mp3 happened to really fit my mood at the time. Maybe next request list.

Damn, Caustic... You left out Betty Rubble, Samantha Stevens, and Barbara Eden as Genie (I Dream of Genie days). Oh yeah... and the Adrian Barbeau-bot with chainsaw hands. There's something about an Adrian Barbeau-bot with chainsaw hands and D cups of justice.
