New Burton film

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Apparently, Tim Burton may be the director of a new version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I had heard that....seems a bit of a travesty though.

Then again....considering the time period, and the tendency for Burton to be a bit.....dark?

It could be distinctive and original.

I just wish he would have left it alone and moved on to "Charlie and the great glass elevator" which was the book following the chocolate factory. It was certainly more his style....including the vermishinous knids.

sweet!!!! Great director and great movie/book. I would be slightly protective over a remake of the movie cause the first one is so good, but I trust Tim.
