Alright my take on my child raising...

My father curses like he was still in Vietnam...as does almost everyone I have ever came up around...except my mother...

However...children are going to curse...I still do not curse to this day in front of my father simply out of respect...in the same token that you would not curse infront of a potiential client...

Another thing that kept me from crusing as a child was being told it made one look uneducated...since being intelligent was the focus of my childhood...that's all it took for me to find better words...

However...now I use cunt more than caring...so I can't say too much...but I'm also an adult...contrary to popular belief...

AS for cursing itself...I look at it like the great and mighty George Carlin does...

Children shouldn't be prevented from learning the meaning any word, but instead show be taught what it means, when to use & not to use it & why. Don't go out of your way to teach them anything before they're ready, but be prepared when the subject comes up. Don't freak out, just remain calm & explain it them & then move on to something else. If you make a big deal about it, they'll only fixate on it more. My 2 cents.

Everyone's got their own methods & opinions for childrearing though, even the ones who say they'll never procreate. Just be sure there's lots of love in the equation, as well as consistency, & it should turn out alright. There will always be plenty of folks who will disagree with whatever style you choose, but as long as the law can't come down on you for it, it's probably not that bad.

Actually...it took me the second time my father came to visit me for me to have a beer with him...and that was after he threw a fit to my entrie family about it...as for cursing in front of him...ummm...around the boys I probably do...but then again we know what the boys are usually talking about...I can't believe Michelle had the ability to hang out with them for the entire evening...

I was speaking as in general daily use...as how the topic was being covered...
