OK...mebbe i'm being a bitch...i'll accept it if others perceive that i am....but wtf does king tut's face have to do with our lives today???? Not a damn fucking thing. Sorry...just feeling in uber bitch mode.

Actually the techniques used for this project are very similar to techniques used today in forensic sciences to help identify john/jane doe decomposed corpses.
I love hearing about how technology is being used to tell us more about history and therin ourselves. And as the saying goes, those who don't know history are forever doomed to repeate it....

I found the story interesting. Thanks Frostmorne for posting it.

You should check out last months (either that or the month before that) issue of National Geographic. There is a cool article on something similar to that...but not about Tut...

And, I believe they are having articles on the Tut story in next months issue of Nat'l Geographic...

Which reminds me....I still haven't gotten this months issue...

I'm obsessed with history....and Egyptology fascinates me!
