I sincerely hope that it won't pass. However, there are many differences between Illinois and Tennessee. Unfortunately, the latter state being a part of the buckle of the motherfucking fundamentalist bible belt is just one of the said differences.
Even more unfortunate is the fact that this said difference far too often seems to have an effect on how laws, be they potential or currently enforced, are considered by this state's political leaders.
