If CNN says it, it must be true.

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

I saw that and all I could think was; "Yeah the Communist News Network would never tell you what was going on much less give you factual information."

I'm pretty sure they have a live feed on Winona Ryder waiiting on her to get picked up for shop liifting again.

I can't remember what was going on but there was real news going on, school shooting, Afgan invasions, Earthquake, or some other manner of bad times and all CNN had on was FUCKING Winona Ryder's arrest for shop lifting.
There is no replacement for displacement.

Hey entertainment is still part of the news. Give those guys a break. Death here. Destruction there. Dead babies. Explosions that no one cares about. Let those guys have a little laugh every now and then...God knows they need it...

Sorry, I just feel really bad for network news anchors...the sad part is...I'm not kidding...
"It was inappropiate and definatly hott..."

Slightly off topic, but...

In my last social psych lecture, the professor quoted a study that said how much violence is overemphasized on television. It said that if the were as many actual deaths as the rates on television imply, then we'd all be dead in less than 60 days.

CNN is selling a product, like everyone else. Real news programs don't get the kind of ratings networks need. Alas.

That is because they show the same guy getting his head cut off 20 times. The same people ovre and over agian from differant angles, in slow motion, in fast forward, backwards, with midgets. I want some new violence. Stop showing the same old fear. Gimme something new to watch and maybe I will turn the TV back on. Till then I am going to stick to the interactive death box.

This seems familiar, for some odd reason.

I guess great minds really do think alike.
