Not tonight
I'm going to a friend's cookout instead of 11th tonight. See some of you at the party Saturday night.

Yup
I missed last week and am going to be there tonight. Probably won't arrive until 8. See everyone there; looking forward to it.
P.S. It's looking now like I won't be there until 9:15 or so.

Poetry reading at 11th St.
Traditionally the poetry reading circle is at 11th Street Expresso House on Wednesday nights. Attendance is sporadic. Ask who ever's working the counter if it's still going on and what time. It used to be at 8pm Wednesday and probably still is. I used to go until I ran out of things to read.

I love open mic nights and poetry nights. There are tons of them around here. I just never saw many in Knox when I lived there. Since I moved my friends and family (seeing as how they still live there) have been on a lookout for places that have open mic music nights.
I ran out of things to write too...well, poetry anyway.
But there is enough drama in the world to fuel writing:)
