Save Pickle Mansion
Pickle Mansion is a beautiful historic building in Ft. Sanders that burned last year, leaving the stone and brick shell:
As you can see from the picture, the exterior of the mansion is still there and the building can be restored. There's a meeting tomorrow with the Historic Zoning Commission to decide the fate of Pickle Mansion...
And of course it was announced on short notice, early in the morning, on tax day. Railroad much?
Wouldn't you rather have one of the few good things left in the Fort restored rather than one more parking lot?
If you can be there, here's the information about the meeting:
Historic Zoning Commission
April 15th, 8:30 am
City/County Building on Main St.
If you can't be there, at least fax Bill Haslam at 865.215.2085.
