This has all kinds of potential. The dark Horse comics were pretty cool. I'm digging these "VS." franchise flicks though. I have a bigger intrest in seeing stuff like this than crappy sequels that just drag the franchise down. (jason x.... anyone?)

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one. From what I've heard about it they are not going to follow the comic at all in this film which is a disappointment. But, hey I've been wrong before. If you search google you can find the original script based on the comic that was done several years ago. It's pretty good.

That sucks they won't be following the comics. I don't know if Paul Anderson would be my first pick to direct either. But... I totally hated the idea of Freddy vs. Jason until I saw it. So I'm still gonna wait and see.
