Bush Quotes

All of this goes without saying - or at least it should. However, I still think it'd be a terribly poor decision to not vote.
After all, if GWB is re-elected, and the sky is falling, I'd like to be able to say that I at least tried to make a difference in the path that is my reality.
Or would it be better to just "duck and cover!"? After all, the bombs can't hurt us if we don't see them... ¹

If carpenters made buildings the way programmers make programs, the first woodpecker to come along would destroy all of civilization. Anonymous

No way.
I am getting out there, voting AGAINST Bush, just like I did in 2000. It may not make a difference, but I'll be damned if I take the blame for anything that happens to my country or this world because I sat on my rear end and didn't speak my mind.
If you don't vote, if you don't take a stand, then you don't have the right to complain if things in the world take a turn for the worse.
And for those who say their vote doesn't matter: A mere difference of 500 people voting for Gore in Florida would have changed the course of history forever.

in the past, i have always considered voting a waste of my time. because of the electoral college, the 2 party system, whatever else... and i still do consider it a waste. however.. i am going to throw my 2 cents in this time.
