Fete Des Fous 2 / Closing Party.....

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

YET ANOTHER UPDATE

Well damn, I have just been informed that Blackgrass will not in fact be playing. And also, the door charge has been lowered to $5 after 9 PM.

So you're just going to have to endure Caustic and I. To make partial amends, I'll play a few tracks off the Blackgrass album.

If anyone has any requests, speak now or be subjected to my own twisted musical whims.

Is that a threat? If so, I see your Blackgrass and raise you one Apoptygma Berzerk's Harmonizer.

Now you have to ask yourself... Will he? Is he crazy enough to do it? Does he despise humanity that much?

Well... Do I?

Rest assured I won't be intentionally torturing the audience. I will attempt to play things that "the crowd" would enjoy.

But if you're playing Harmonizer, I'm gonna play the TATU cover of "How Soon Is Now".

See and raise with Squarepusher's rendition of "Love Will Tear Us Apart."

Ladies and gentlemen! Its dueling DJs Jack and Caustic!

So come on down and watch them pull out their electric banjos with the Bauhaus wa-wa pedals and listen to them flail at each other with the sonic!

(Its so cheap, and real phonic!)

I will be there tonight.

Poor Zeo, I hope he makes a speedy recovery. I may venture out, but I'm not sure. I was in a car accident last night & banged up my knee real well. We'll see how it's feeling closer to time to go. I've never heard Jack DJ, so that would be fun. Regardless, I hope everyone has a great time.

Well, I guess I'll forgive you for not showing up at 11th last night after requesting my presence (and Sean's) ... ;)

I hope you show up; a lot of our group will be there. If you need anything, let me know.

The only thing I can think of that isn't "danceable" is anything by Merzbow.

If you don't give me specific requests, in the words of Flavor Flav, "I can't do nothin' for ya man."

Even if you give me requests, I may not help.

Though I was considering something off of the Retrosic disc anyway. I don't know if I'm playing Ground Zero, or anything at all, but I've got it in my case just because the phrase "Death over ground zero!" is stuck in my head.
