Just to tease all you Alien fans out there, there will be a teaser trailer attached to Alien: the Directors Cut, being released Wed, Oct 29th....
Yes thats right...Aliens vs Predator...

actually Aliens vs Predator has been in the script stage since 1991 after the comic came out...its finally got a producer and director behind it after a few sojourns into development hell tho...

Yeah, but there has been a lot of drama attached to this project too :twisted: In a nutshell, Ridley Scott was going to do Alien 5, with James Cameron scripting, but the cavaet was that this not be made...So no Alien 5, at least not from a good team.

Instead, the director of such classic films as Mortal Combat and Resident Evil is going with what has been called a horrid script from all reviews from the start, never changing into anything better over the may years this has been batted about. All involved are insistant about NOT using the plot from the excellent original AvP comic mini-series.

I can't wait to see it, but my expectations are low.
