If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Anything by the Cars

thimble, you should really try to make it. I mean, who is going to dance like Bill Cosby for me??

Hey ... to promote 80's night, I suggest you go here:

http://www.wkvl.com

And then drop an e-mail to Todd or Mel at this station and tell them about the promo, they may be able to help get the word out.

Lately, this has really been my favourite radio station, especially on Sundays when they do Nina Blackwood's "New Wave Nation". Check it out, 105.3. I love it! :)

I, personally, only listen to this station. I love it......

I wanna hear "Bang a Gong" by T. Rex.

Yeah, I know it's not an 80s song. But I don't care.

Any AC/DC,

Yeah you don't like this, but if I gotta listen to some of that crap you call music (now not all of it I like and listen to about 90% of what is played) I'm gonna at least request some stuff.

Keith Whitley is one of the best acoustic balladeers.

L.A. To Miami -- 1986
Keith Whitley - Miami, My Amy
Keith Whitley - Ten Feet Away

From Don't Close Your Eyes -- 1988
Keith Whiltley - When You Say Nothing At All

A song about being too old for your time, and not fitting in at a night club:

Hank Williams Jr. - Dinosaur 1980

Hank WIlliams Jr. - Country State of Mind 1986

Hank WIlliams jr. - Young Country 1987

Non COuntry

Neil Diamond - Heartlight 1982

Not sure about dates and can't find any definate release dates,

Jimmy Buffet - Come Mondy

More to come....[/i]
There is no replacement for displacement.

Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe
Strawberry Switchblade - Since Yesterday
Trio - Da Da Da
Wall of Voodoo - Mexican Radio
Nirvana - Negative Creep

I had to go make sure that the Nirvana album Bleach had been released in the 80's, and sure enough, there actually was both a cassette and a 12" released in '89. :D
