I found one to look at, Mercedes Station wagon.

And yes, he is right... that's why. With the conversion installed, I should get about 100 miles for every gallon of diesel I use. Should save me about $3,000 a year.

it's a wise investment
i'm also on the search for a good car myself to do this

do you know how to do the conversion
or is there somone in your area that installs them

i'm told there is a place in atlanta that will install the kit
so that's pushing me more to just go ahead and do it

as much as i travel it would be a great investment for me

My dad said it looked easy... if you want I can ask him how much he'll charge

And he gave me some advice... stay away from Mercedes, the parts are way too expensive in case you have issues (he said the fuel injector head or something was about $6,000).

He said a VW would be ideal... especially the Rabbit.

http://www.greasecar.com has a on-board filter pump I would recommend you use if you plan on travelling.
