I have a very old cassette from 1985 recorded on a boombox of this punk band from Northridge CA called The Hellcats. I'd kill to get this ripped to mp3, but I wouldn't part with it to save your life heh
Oh sad is the world. but I have Kavorkian's scarf.

i can rip to mp3 for you shit i'll even put it on a cdr

i just got a brand new pro dual deck
and i have a pretty decent external tascam sound card
pretty clean sounding for a budget unit

since it's just the one tape i'll do it for free
then of course send your tape and cdr back to you

but since you don't know me
that's your call

but jason (blindboy) knows me well
so he can tell you i'm not a dick or anything

you can email me
travis @ ncc-records dot com
or pm me if your serious

i'd like to do this kind of work on the side of my editing work
so this would be good practice for me

but anyway

yes

old records and tapes
don't throw em out
and keep your eyes peeled
if you guys see some that are going to be tossed
i'd love to take em off your hands
again it doesn't matter what the hell it is
any genre
i'd rather be your enemy than hear you call me friend

Can't help you on the vinyl, but I will see what I can scrounge together for cassettes this weekend.

I'll send you a pm with what I've got. One favor though, I have a unique cassette that I would really love to get ripped onto cdr. I have no way of ever getting another copy. It is a tape of a local band that used to play back when I was in college. I've been promising people copies of this for years, but had no idea how to get a cassette copied to mp3.

Could you swing that for me?

Yea, that sounds like a good deal for me too, if you have time. I have a few Christian Death tapes and other stuff I'd like to get digitized. I don't even own a cassette deck anymore. You gonna make it to knox anytime soon?

Unless you need the tapes really soon, let's save ourselves some po$tage and wait 'till december. The cassette to digital transfers will be more than enough payment on your behalf.
