If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Sept Sanctus Thanks

Post by Bone »

First off, all I can say is WOW! and, thanks to all of you who joined us last night for Sanctus, and helped with dontations and clothes for our KG family displaced from their homes in NOLA by Katrina.

We raised $191 bucks last night!!!!!! All of you who came out last night are to commended for your giving spirit.

To that end I also want to thank those who donated items for the Raffel:
DarkFaerie - for the Gift Basket, Arm Warmers and Raffel Tickets!
Mother Mo - For the Tarot Readings
Wasted Potential - for the T-shirts, and Carry Bag
Gear Up MotoSports - for the Goggles

I haven't had a chance to go through the clothing donations yet, but there is A LOT of stuff you all generously donated to Dave and Liz... Thank you one and all. I know they will be appreciative of it. I should be mailing it out tuesday. I'll let everyone know when they get it.

I know I had a blast last night, Saw many new faces and the dancefloor was absolutely hoppin most all night. I hope eveyone else enjoyed the night as much as I did.

Playlists are up and can be found here
index or previous Sancti can be found here

Keep an eye on Upcoming Events this week for October Sanctus and Halloween events! See you all soon!

Thanks again everyone. Last night helped remind me what a wonderful community we have here in K-town.

I hate that saying: "You can't have your cake and eat it too."

Because what's the point of having cake when you aren't able to savour and enjoy every tastey morsel it has to offer you.....

I had a wonderful time last night! It seemed a bit strange going to the Mighty Sanctus in plain black pants and a "Sesame Street Fever" t-shirt instead of the usual Medieval garb, but nonetheless, it was a blast. It is also refreshing to know that people did donate clothing and money to the Hurricane victims...I hope what I gave to Dave and Liz fits ok:)

BTW...the play list was great...I am still sore from dancing so much.
Looking forward to the next Sanctus, I am definately getting off from work...I love it...but Ripley's is getting on my nerves!
