Simplistic elegance
make me weak
in the knees
while my heart
skips a beat
Realistic delicate
take my cheek
and kiss it
softly gently
sweet
Winged dancing
angel
on the floor
took one quick
glance came
back for more
I want you close
I need you near
I guess that's why
I keep showing
up here
Down there
I feel warm
among the ghostly
crowd dancing rhythmic
mostly to myself
and always not aloud
Back and forth
we sway like
branches in the
wind and then wind down
with the song of love
and when we start
again to flow
with the beating pulse
like the heartbeat
of a million
how carefree it is
to be alive again
and just to feel young
Some of us are boistrous
and others prance
so proud
yet I myself dance
by myself
and I'm certainly
not aloud
