In the beginning the catalog and discussion is referring to IKEA...and there isn't one in Ktown, and I think it might be only mail order...not sure though...

Those are the IKEA's in America.

IIRC they used to be mail order only in the US but the all mighty dollar cast its strip mall spell and they opened a couple frachises in the USA.
There is no replacement for displacement.
