What Once Was Red, Now Black Again

A tear of blood drops upon a rose
Which once was red, now black again
Screams are heard, his pain it shows...
His blackened petals fall in vain...

Fierce weeds wrap around his roots
His petals began to wither, as if slowly dying..
They strangle him with their spiteful lying
Dressing his heart in a dark red suit..

Supressing the light within dark pyres
Isolating the rose from moonlit desires
Thorns too weak to protect from pain
Wishing only to break the chain

Can this bleeding rose ever be mended?
Will this dark being ever be befriended?
Why does it wither dear neighbor?
Will there ever be a savior?

Crimson tears fall forth to his petals
Once was red is black again...
Around it's heart, a twisted wall of metal
To whom the pain will be sent

Upon the soil lay his final remains
Never to feel a soft hands touch
Only the cold, dark pains...
Oh what did he ever do to deserve so much?
