Michael Xi Dances with Prince!

This just in, KG's own Michael Xi got pulled up onto the stage tonight to dance with Prince and sing a duet! Reports say that Michael was having an absolutely awesome time and the concert was a blast.
Way to go Michael!

Well...that is a bit of an exageration....A lot of people got pulled up on stage and Michael was one of them.... And several people sang snippets as well....though most of them weren't nearly as good as Michael.

I mean...that guy in the hat! Oh my! Who let him out?

Still....I know it has been a fantasy...if not a goal...to be on stage and sing with Prince...

Besides....Michael is one of our people...which makes him the only one up there of signifigance....

.....Well....That and the Blond......Oh my!

He is going to be absolutely insufferable for months.

He is going to be smiling so big that his head will spit in half.

I believe that the guy in the hat might have had some connection to the "Purple Pimp Moblie".

And hhhuummm wonder what we will be hearing a lot of at next Snacktus? :lol:

Not really. Here are some of the pics I took. They are not so good but I was trying to be sneaky and not get my camera confiscated. I also got an mpeg of Mike singing with Prince!

Yay Michael!! Of all people I think should get to do this, you are top of the list!!

That is the real sneaky part....All the people that got pulled up on stage came from one side of the stage....but Michael sort of just popped uo from the other side out of nowhere.

Miz Buttah....you so rock for getting pictures of Michael in spite of them. I was just thinking last night that it was a shame there was no way to get a picture for posterity.

I must admit...I am a little jealous of him...

...not of singing on stage in a concert with Prince...perish the thought.

No I am speaking seeking a goal that seems unrealistic and highly improbable...
"Yeah sure Mikey, whatever, like that is ever gonna happen"....

... and then one day unexpectedly achieving that goal out of the blue.

Dreams are made of this.

I realized that after you and Kasi went off to find your seats! So sorry!!

But it did suck trying to be sneaky. Didn't use the flash, turned off the big display screen on the back, covered up a light with my finger and had to crouch down to avoid the security. I would have gotten arrested if they had tried to taken it away from me...lol.

But it was worth it, and I will take anyone up on free drinks..

I spoke with someone I work with and mentioned that someone from here got onstage and they asked who, so I showed them the picture. They remembered seeing him and said he sang really well and that Prince went back to him several times. Bravo, Michael!

I'm guessing to him it felt something like when I met Peter Murphy and the members of bauhaus. It's been 4 plus years and I'm still sorta thrilled about it...and yes, I brag on every given occasion.
