For Switchblade symphony fans

On SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 29TH, The Parlour Club is hosting a book release party for
an anthology entitled _Pills, Thrills, Chills and Heartache: Adventures in the
First Person_. For it, editors CLINT CATALYST and MICHELLE TEA contributed new
work of their own, and collected exclusive stories from 37 cult status authors,
including DENNIS COOPER, EILEEN MYLES, and J.T. LEROY. Several contributors
have RSVPed for the party, including SHAWNA KENNEY, PLEASANT GEHMAN, and out-of-
town folks from as far away as Boston. This event will include pill-shaped
cookies and give-aways, guest d.j.s DAVE WHITE (contributing editor of INSTINCT
MAGAZINE) and RUDY BLEU (of the punk bands HOT N HEAVY and $3 PUTA, and founder
of the SCUTTER 'zine and scholarship fund). As a special treat, TINA (lead
singer and founder of the band SWITCHBLADE SYMPHONY) will be performing a set
with her new band TRE' LUX, in their first ever show in the United States!
Doors for this event are at 10 p.m.; band is sc!
heduled to be on stage at 11. The Parlour is located at 7702 Santa Monica
Blvd. in West Hollywood. THIS EVENT IS FREE OF CHARGE AND OPEN TO THE 21-AND-
OVER PUBLIC.

Man, Switchblade has been on "hiatus" for, what, 2 years or more now???

4 years actually altho a live album was just realeased by Cleopatra. Switchblade however is no more for now. Tina is putting most of her time into Tre'Lux. If you havent heard them yet you can download a few of the tracks here.
