If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Wish I could help you- I need a job too... I understand the pain of poverty...

Jewelery, huh? Cool! I have experience in the jewelery field as well, maybe you and I and CS should just get together and spend our lives' savings opening a goth jewelery shop, complete with centrifugal casting equipment to create the world's lovliest gothy jewels...

Upon my brief check with reality, I hope you find something good... :D

You could always be a teacher at a charm school. Mold and shape the young women of our country into fine upstanding goth women who will shake the rafters of society. ;o)
May your dreams be the future you could have had, and your nightmares be the realization that you destroyed your chance to make it reality.

Gree-eat... Then we'll have hundreds of JaZillas across the country breathing fire and squishing Japanese schoolgirls...
Our tourism industry will suffer greatly because of that, you know. 8)

They would only destory the section of the population that is watering down the gene pool. So it may hurt tourism, but the ends will justify the means. :P

I was out of work for 6 months last year. I feel your pain. I eventually just went to every temp agency in Knoxville and filled out applications and took the tests. Eventually they found me a job. It was a pain in the rump, but it worked. Best of luck to you JaNell.

Arkady's avatar made me giggle.

JaNell, you could subcontract yourself to various companies too.
With an associates degree in advertising art, you could start your own business, and well That is an idea.
The .com's that were mentioned might work too.

And to think I was going to suggest driving a busload of raving lunatics...

Yep. It sucks donkey balls.

Be thankful, JaNell, that you're in a more, uh, settled part of the state... meanwhile, I have to have job interviews with Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel. *shudder*

If I had enough money to start my own business, I wouldn't need a job! Plus, I want about 20 hours a week, while seriously starting a business requires a 60-80 hour per week commitment in the beginning plus capital.

(Not picking on you in particular but) I'd hoped that people would read this and (only) pass on info on available jobs they knew of - it was a sort of, "Hey, I'm available for work, if you hear of a job I'm qualified for, post it here for me" thread. Erg. Frustration sets in...
