anti suck maternity cloths?
So since there are several of us on here expecting I was wondering, does anyone know where to find maternity cloths that don't suck and don't cost an arm and a leg? Pea in the Pod has some awsome stuff but even on clearance it's like 79.99 for a nice shirt.
I did well on oldnavy.com just getting some basics (like black yoga pants) but I want some stuff I'd be proud to wear.
And I want it in black. Just because I'm having a baby doesn't mean I want to dress like one.
PLUS I'm tall. Like 5'10.
Suggestions?

I have the same problem. I have been online and not even ebay has many black or dark colors.....right now im in my 4th month and I am costantly wearing my black stretch velvet pants and i will be able to probably wear them for the next 3 or maybie even 4 months....My advice is to go thrift store shopping....you can usually find some plus size black clothing...(my favorite being the long velvet dresses that you can pair with some stretch pants.) Also the price is cheaper and you can get more for your money. I wish that hot topics plus store would come out with maternity clothing. If you go in there some of the clothing works and isnt way too loose. Well hope i was of some help.

"Why is the rum always gone?"...or in this case vodka....oh wait...nevermind.
Yep, thrift stores - right now Habitat has a bag sale for clothes, all the clothes that you can fit into a plastic grocery bag for $1.50, and I saw some fun maternity stuff there although it goes fast...
Oh, no coats, formals, or Vols stuff allowed in the bag.
The Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store is on Central - go north past Star Sales, it's on the left opposite Knox Glass.

I will be having a number of gothic style and just plain black maternity clothes at my booth for the bizaar bazaar at Sanctus this month (I think we are having it again) I also plan to have some baby and child clothes, so if anyone wants particular sizes, styles or anything, let me know. Lastly, if anyone is enterested, I would like to add some household items and toys, all sewn by me (of course). Don't know how much I will have time to finish by this month, but if there is interest let me know and I will keep working and adding to it.
(I am gonna leave this here but also start a thread with it, just so more people will check it out)
