Nah...I think the key to good clothing is to find pictures of things you really like and then take them to someone who will do sewing and stuff in exchange for compensation (i.e. money, sex, absinthe....er....I mean ALCOHOL, whatever) and say, "Make me this please."
I hate trenchcoats but the one in that line is really cool.
Do any of you find lip service stuff to be really cheaply made? I have a couple dresses that haven't been terribly durable.
In fact, the dress I was wearing last night that lost the button was lip service.
In the past Lip Service has had a LONG lifetime (I still have and wear things I brought 5 years ago) Haven't really had any recent purchaases from LS long enough to test durability.
I have noted looking at some of their stuff in stores that the material Quality has definately gone down.

Morgan- the lippie stuff at HT is made for HT specifically, to make it more affordable. Sometimes it's like a piece in a specific collection, but with a different material, buttons, fewer zippers, etc.

I knew that...but...well..I don't know...lol.
I have some non HT lip service somethings around here I think...
i buy from lippy ALOT... im trying to get the rest of the houses of the holy set....... but $$$.....
the non-ht lippy stuff is durable as fuck, the HT-lippy seems to wear out. ive got a shirt and a pair of pants from HT-lippy and both are on dying legs.
the stuff uve bought from lippy lately has been holding up VERY well....

I have had a problem with a couple of the HT Lip Service items as well (denim fraying on a pair of pants and straps coming detached from a dress). The rest of the clothing that I have from their website has been quite durable. My only complaint is that their sizing seems to be a little awkward, or maybe it's just me. I have had to alter every piece of clothing, with the exception of one dress, that I have bought from them in the last two years.
