A friend of mine met this chick in San Fran.
I *really* like her work.
I've posted it before, but I'll share again for our newbies...

Definitely my style! She rocks! This reminds me a lot of the covers of the comic Sandman - not the same, just reminds me of it. I would love to get hold of one of her boxes. She mentions that some of her art is for sale. I'm sure prices will be well out of my reach, but, he who dares! I'll let you all know costs if anyone else is interested.

Ummm... Hello.... I met her too, ya know. And it was *me* that got the postcards to send to your silly butt

Hayhay and I discovered her stuff in a book store on Park St. in Alameda a few months before we met her at Art In The Park. The stuff is truly impressive in person.
Although I dig her abominations and assemblage, I think her best work is her Polaroid transfers. I still plan on buying “Centipede” when I get my head above water (so, like, probably never).
I hate her website, though.
The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.
