Who wants a gaming forum?

Post by Deadpool »

:roar:
Anybody want a gaming forum? It's a chance to expand the site for people who play Vampire the Masqerade, AD&D, Paintball, Computer games (like Halo for example), checkers, or whatever. Speak and be heard!

What do you people want next? Gothic stamp collecting forum maybe? How about gothic bicycling? Gothic snowboarding?

don't get my wrong. i like gaming, but we already have to many forums that i don't have enough energy or patience to check, we don't need more.

gaming is actually something i might want to hear about, so lets leave it in the general forum :P

I don't see why they can't be lumped into GothGeek...

Of course it is! Well, not quite my domain, really. But I do frequent it quite often.

Well, that and The Dumpster.

Im sort of with putting it in Goth Geek (dont take the section names serious, I think any other hobby outside the forum base should go there also). I think thats where goth gear head should have gone and the Art forum should have stayed in crafts (maybe changed the name to Arts and crafts)

ok, my point was that we really do have quite a few forum sections, and there are other local forums better suited to this particular topic.

I'm against creating a gaming forum at this time.

oh, and anybody who starts naming topics anything like GAMING FORUM: is going to get on my bad side. you've been warned.

Well, there should be a place to discuss them. Whether or not it's a forum, I don't care.

Vader, I *so* told you this was gonna happen, didn't I?

But what do I know...lol.

We probably have more gamers than we do artists or car geeks.

And being that gothgeek is for issues "technical and computer" role playing games don't really fit in their do they? I mean, just because people that play d and d might also own a computer doesn't make it the same does it?

(I'm just playing the devils advocate here)

Are their any gothgirlgeeks that can put their boobies in his face? LOL

Ok, first of all I didn't know about the Knoxville Gamers Discussion Area until The Fallen kindly pointed it out.( and thanks Fallen for that! People could learn a lot from him in my opinion about being courteous). I thought it might give goths the chance to talk about, plan get togethers, or whatever from the mainstream forum. To avoid attacks and ridicule and not have to go the "outside" and mingle with "mundanes".

But if the administrator doesn't even want to entertain the notion of creating a forum, it's his discission. It just means that gamer's, sports enthusiasts, and the like over all are not considered here and should find somewhere else to go.

Nope, not at all, just discuss it in General or GothGeek.
